The Executive Development Program is an application-based learning process to improve an individual's self-management, people management and organizational management skills. The program emphasizes the practical implementation of essential work-related skills and is designed to capture the imagination and energy of managers and professionals.

The program consists of a series of interactive small group workshops interspersed with periods of application and practice. Experienced training and development professionals guide the process. Workshops are from 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Lunch, workbooks and supplies are included.

Individuals can take part in the program as offered by Selection Resource or companies can set up the program for internal teams. When used with teams, added emphasis is placed on the development, cohesion and effectiveness of the team.

The program helps a person:

  • examine effective management practices and their usefulness,
  • apply the practices,
  • improve the application of the practices, and
  • continue a self-motivated process of improvement.

The program objective is to improve personal productivity and leadership effectiveness.

Participation:

The program is designed for the experienced manager or professional who must work in an independent or autonomous manner. Moreover, it is for the person who wants to improve personal productivity and leadership skills. Note that a special version of the program is available for senior leaders in the CEO, COO or Business Unit Management roles.
